Progressive Limited Lifetime Guarantee
Get the peace of mind that comes with the Progressive Limited Lifetime Guarantee. When you ask Progressive to help you arrange a covered repair or choose to have an authorized repair facility perform a covered repair, you'll receive Progressive Limited Lifetime Guarantee of the covered repair (“Lifetime Guarantee”) for as long as you own or lease your vehicle.
A covered repair is a repair of damage to your vehicle that’s described in a written damage assessment prepared by your Progressive claims service representative and completed by an authorized repair facility. An authorized repair facility is one that’s within Progressive's repair shop network.
What does my lifetime guarantee cover?
The Progressive Limited Lifetime Guarantee covers a covered repair. Under this Lifetime Guarantee, at no cost to you, Progressive will arrange for the correction of any covered repair that fails to meet generally accepted industry standards for form, fit, finish, durability and functionality, as commonly recognized in the U.S. automobile repair industry at the time of the covered repair ("Generally Accepted Industry Standards"). In addition, at no cost to you, Progressive will provide you with a rental vehicle while the corrective repairs provided under this Lifetime Guarantee are completed.
What doesn't my lifetime guarantee cover?
Your Progressive Lifetime Guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper maintenance, neglect, abuse or subsequent accidents.
In addition, your Progressive Lifetime Guarantee does not apply to any work on a covered repair performed by anyone other than an authorized Progressive repair facility. Any work on a covered repair by anyone other than an authorized repair facility will void the Lifetime Guarantee.
How long does it last?
The Progressive Lifetime Guarantee applies for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. The Lifetime Guarantee is not transferable and terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer your vehicle.
How do I get service?
To get service under the Progressive Lifetime Guarantee, please notify Progressive of any problems related to a covered repair by calling 1-800-274-4641. To report a claim, or check on an existing claim, use the Claims Service Login on this site.
THIS LIFETIME GUARANTEE IS PROGRESSIVE'S EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COVERED REPAIR. PROGRESSIVE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES.
THIS LIFETIME GUARANTEE IS LIMITED TO THE CORRECTION OF ANY COVERED REPAIR THAT FAILS TO MEET GENERALLY ACCEPTED INDUSTRY STANDARDS. ACCORDINGLY, PROGRESSIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM A COVERED REPAIR.
Some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
